Sissi begins to work as a designer at Redwall SpA (Bologna), her family's company.
The first collection of “sissirossi” leather goods by Redwall comes out.
Redwall signs a licensing agreement with Moschino SpA. Together with Franco Moschino and Rossella Jardini, Sissi coordinates the development of the first collection of Moschino bags and accessories.

In the following years, Sissi becomes head of the production department of Redwall, responsible for all the company lines (Borbonese, Rossi & Rossi etc.) and personally developing collections under license for such designers as Romeo Gigli and Bluemarine.
Together with her husband Massimo Betocchi, Sissi founds Sissi Rossi Srl, a company dedicated to creating buttons and accessories for the fashion industry.
First collection of bijoux with the Sissi Rossi trademark. In the same year, Sissi acquires the license for producing the Moschino line of bijoux.
The "sissirossi" line makes its entrance into the most important international sales locations at the high end of the world market.
Sissi creates the "tinto in capo" line, destined to soon become a commercial success and one of the products which best describes and represents the Sissi Rossi style.
Sissi consolidates her position in the luxury sector of principal markets. Her collections demonstrate particular attention to materials and shapes, combined with an innovative technique.
